Fertilizer + Weed Control: Basic program- Soil test performed as needed. Applications of preemergent weed control with light fertilizer in early + late spring, early summer fertilizer,  spot weed control in summer, 2 fall fertilizer applications. Lime and pest/disease control additional as needed. 

Aerating: Performed at least once a year preferably in the fall. Benefits turf by removing cores of soil which are deposited on top of the lawn to breakdown and act as a topdressing. This allows air, water and fertilizer to reach the root zone which helps the roots grow denser and deeper for better stress resistance, breaks up thatch and relieves compaction. Highly recommended for all lawns!

 De-thatching: Removes the buildup of dead and dying roots, stems and other debris that form a mat on top of the soil. Grass clippings do not contribute to thatch buildup! Usually only needed on neglected lawns in our area, regular aeration can provide similar results.

Overseeding: Applied in fall for best results with aeration for a thicker, plusher lawn.             

Topdressing:  Applied after aerating to add rich organic material to the soil and provides an    excellent seedbed.

Landscape + Flower bed maintenance: Usually 2-4 visits to maintain a fresh look over the season. In the spring we clean out debris and weeds, cut a sharp edge outlining the bed and apply 2"- 3" of a top quality  mulch. Follow up visits can include weeding,  re-edging and mulching as needed, cutting back perennials and maintaining annuals.  

Shrub pruning: All types of pruning from selective hand thinning to formal shaping + training. Usually performed in conjunction with bed maintenance depending on type of shrub..

Accent flowers: We can install annual flowers to accent and brighten that special location and change them as needed throughout the season.

Fall leaf cleanup: Usually performed over 2-3 visits cleaning out landscaped beds and lawn areas. Leaves can be spread in wooded areas, on your compost pile or hauled away.
